The HFVF&R Co. plays an active role in our community. Traditionally, we have provided support for annual Oktoberfest, Fourth of July, and Hemlock Farms Summer Kickoff events. We also hold an annual Open House, where the community may get acquainted with our many volunteers, rescue equipment, and witness live fire and rescue demonstrations. Other events include the Christmas Giving Tree, and Christmas time house to house visits from Santa.

| March 27, 2010 | HFVF&R Co. hosted its annual diner dance at Ehrhardt's Waterfront Restaurant for all members and distinguished guests. Congratulations to Tim Morey who achieved Fireman of the Year for 2009. Chief’s Award went to Jesse Young. Jesse was not present at the ceremony at this time. EMS Person of the Year was presented to Jean Christian for the second year in a row. Junior Firefighter of the year was awarded to Sean Strohmaier. A sincere thank you was extended Carole Keyser for her hard work and dedication to the HFVF&R Co. as secretary of years past. Thank you to all members and guest that attended the Annual Dinner Dance.. |
